"Martha Stewart's Cupcakes," a favorite of mine at the moment.

I think Martha Stewart knows a thing or two about baking, so I just had to have my own copy.

The recipes range from your classic staples to very creative and unique ideas. I hope to have baked each and every one of these recipes by the end of summer, so keep up to date with my Cupcake Diary to find out what's cookin' next!

"Cupcakes Galore" by Gail Wagman.

This cupcake cookbook was given to me as a gift and I have loved thumbing through the photographs but have yet to test out the recipes.

The presentations look fun and the recipes sound mouthwatering, so I will keep you posted once I start baking out of this book.

I am a little worried that the ingredient lists are so complex, but I'm sure once I accumulate a variety of baking supplies, I won't have to run to the store for each recipe, or so I hope.

Click to buy "Hello Cupcake!"

"Hello Cupcake!" by Karen Tack & Alan Richardson.

This cupcake cookbook is more of a cupcake decorating book, but it is still worthy of a flip through for inspiration and creative ideas.

I welcome all cupcake tips and tricks available, so it was truly a useful book. I don't love that all of the decor uses candies and cookies, but it was interesting and different for sure.

If you have kids, or want to impress a young audience, you could definitely find some good information. All of the recipes start with a basic box cake mix and canned frosting, which makes it super easy to put a special batch together.
