They all look so cute, and tasty! Been to any of these?

A lot of you guys have been writing in to ask about certain cupcake recipes and the how to's. From now on I want to make it as easy as possible for you to make fresh, gourmet cupcakes at home.

These cupcakes were made with my new CBTL. Of course, I work for The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf so when the new CBTL single serve beverage system came out, I was so excited to bake with freshly pulled espresso in my cupcakes.

If you haven't heard of Life of Dad, it's a must read daddy blog that traces the steps of a beautiful young couple, both successful, both adventurous, raising an amazing little girl named Barbara.

Tom Riles, the host, dad, and blogger, put together a fabulous soiree in celebration of Barbara's first birthday with his wife Lucy. They called it, The Barbara Awards.

I was honored and excited to be able to contribute my cupcake skills to this event. Lucy especially requested Gluten Free cupcakes as well as something pink for Barbara. So, for my first attempt I made GF Vanilla Cupcakes with Lemon Buttercream Frosting and my favorite Red Velvet Cupcake recipe with Cream Cheese Frosting.

I have to give myself an A+ for presentation, and from what I hear, the cupcakes were an A+ in taste too!
