My Christmas Wishlist:

Just in case Santa checks out my my blog before he takes off from the North Pole, there's just a few cool items I would LOVE to find under my tree :).

How cute are these cupcake pajamas? As seen on Liz Lemon from 30 Rock! These are the cat's pajamas!

Actually, now wishing I had these this Christmas Eve to sleep in :) They look pretty cozy.

Check out this mini cupcake maker! I'm really not quite sure how I feel about them, but I wouldn't mind getting one from Santa to test out.

Best of all they make mini cupcakes, my favorite!

Most of all I would really really love this PINK KitchenAid stand up mixer. I know it's a long shot, and it's probably too heavy to load into the sleigh, but Santa if you're out there, i've been good alll year.

I hope you all get what you want this year and a Merry Christmas to all!

Cupcake Bachelors

John Earle aka Johnny Cupcakes is entrepreneurial, creative, and super nice.

Justin Willman aka host of Cupcake Wars is a budding actor and tv personality, charming but a little cheesy.

Both are from Boston, both love cupcakes and both are amazingly handsome!

Who’s your favorite Cupcake Bachelor?

Eat My Blog Bake Sale LA

Now say that 10 times fast!

The Eat My Blog charity bake sale was such a success in so many ways and quantitatively, raised around $3,700 to go towards the LA Food Bank.

First of all, I cannot say enough great things about the organizer Cathy from GastronomyBlog. She had so much energy throughout the entire event, 6 hours on a Saturday PLUS set-up/clean-up.

That is quite the dedicated blogger to organize such an amazing event, and for its 3rd run, raising over $12,000 for the LA Food Bank from the bake sale events alone.

I was just excited to be a part of it, and be able to contribute. One of the challenges was individually wrapping mini cupcakes.. hmmm. So I decided to go all out and make them pretty fancy in tiny champagne glasses and pink PINK ribbon. I thought they turned out pretty cute!

All of the baked goods looked so appetizing I wasn’t quite sure which ones I would be taking home, and I strategically brought only $15 in cash so that I wouldn’t go too nuts.

I was pretty satisfied with the assortment of goodies I gathered, but one in particular was from DomesticDivasThey made a bacon brownie with bourbon caramel sauce. After I took one bite, and chewed into the strips of bacon, mmm… I ran back to snatch up another one before they were all gone. Not surprisingly, I bought up the last one!

Oddly enough, I was wearing two hats that day; a cupcake/blogger hat and a CBTL/Coffee Bean hat. CBTL single serve beverage systems were brewing up espresso, coffee and tea to wash down all of those sweet treats, a much needed pick-me-up between the 6 or something hours I spent at the bake sale.

Well go ahead and check out the photos from the event below, but if your mouth starts watering onto your computer, there’s nothing I can do.. you shoulda been there!
