Snickerdoodle Cupcakes

Snickerdoodle do!

If you have ever had a snickerdoodle cookie, these cupcakes are 1000x times better! You know how they made Oreo cookies into cakes? It's kinda like that.

The Cupcake:

The cupcake was the perfect fluffy and moist combination. It had the texture of angel food cake but a little softer.

The Frosting:

I attempted the 7 minute frosting again, and while this time it took me about 27 minutes instead of 37 like last time, it tuned out way better too.

It was very light and fluffy. Some of my cupcake tasters thought it may have been too fluffy, but after tasting a few more samples, agreed it was the perfect compliment to the sweet cake. 

The top is sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar, a classic garnish just like the cookie. 

Overall Review:

These were amazing! They almost tasted better the next day too, since all of the sugar melted into the cake a little, making it even more sweet and moist.

I want to start baking more fall flavors, so this cinnamon cake was a great first step into my fall baking series. Try them for yourself and share them with your friends, they won't be disappointed.
